Clean air manufacturer. NatéoSanté, a company based in Saint-Hilaire-de-Chaléons, is committed to making a difference. For the past ten years, the company founded by Thierry Ricci has been targeting fine particles, volatile organic compounds such as benzene and formaldehyde (found in felt, carpets, paints, fabrics, etc.), hydrogen peroxide… Anything that is harmful to health, whether at home or in the workplace.
How? Using machines equipped with measuring instruments and filters designed to absorb and trap all these pollutants. These air purifiers, called Eolis Air Manager, were designed by NatéoSanté and manufactured by Tronico, a company based in the Vendée region. “This machine removes pollutants without releasing any back into the air,” the company’s CEO emphasizes.
90% of business comes from professionals
Over the years, NatéoSanté focused on the issue of pollutants in the workplace. This began with hair salons, where professionals are exposed to products that aren’t always very healthy.
“In this field, we’re the market leader in air purifiers,” says Thierry Ricci, a former electronics engineer who entered this field after suffering from recurring allergies. “90% of our business is in the commercial sector.”
In France, NatéoSanté business primarily NatéoSanté hairdressing, pedicure and podiatry (such as insoles made with adhesives that emit neoprene vapors), and dental prosthetics.
Abroad, the company “focuses more on the medical sector and early childhood, particularly in daycare centers.” The company has grown. It now employs fifteen people in research and development, sales, and administration. Its revenue was one million euros in 2018.
And there’s no shortage of projects. His latest creation is a professional odor-eliminating air purifier that contains no fragrances or chemicals. Thierry Ricci hopes that his innovation, Hygéolis, will meet companies’ needs for “their restrooms, locker rooms, and utility rooms.” He also has the hospitality industry and vacation rentals in mind.
